JOSEPH R. BARATTA HAS DESERVEDLY GAINED A REPUTATION AS A TRUE PROFESSIONAL with  an impressive resume. As principal and president of Baratta Enterprises Inc., he has constructed homes in East Hampton, Amagansett  and Sag Harbor as well as numerous renovations and additions throughout  the Hamptons, Connecticut and Northern California. 

NOT  A MASS PRODUCTION BUILDER, Mr. Baratta enjoys the scale of building  that allows him to work closely with his clients. With his hands-on approach he confidently and professionally guides his clients through  the entire decision process. Every client that has had the pleasure of  working with Mr. Baratta appreciates and applauds his personalized attention and tireless enthusiasm. Each home, custom or speculative, is  crafted with the care and attention he would apply to a home built for  himself.

AFTER  GRADUATING FROM COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY WITH A DEGREE IN CONSTRUCTION  MANAGEMENT, Mr. Baratta put his knowledge to work supervising the  construction of sixty units for a high-end subdivision in Armonk, New  York. Having gained the necessary experience from working for a large  developer, he decided to go out on his own. Before moving to the eastern  Long Island, NY, he developed and sold several lots in Connecticut  extending the building tradition of his family to three generations. In  early 2005 Mr. Baratta and his family moved to Northern California to  continue the dream of living and building in beautiful places. In 2011  they moved back to beautiful eastern Long Island to be rejoined with the  rest of their families and continue a life of happiness and passion.

THROUGHOUT  HIS CAREER, MR. BARATTA HAS EXHIBITED THE BALANCE BETWEEN FUNCTION AND  DESIGN. His keen eye for detail and quality workmanship is apparent in  both his interior and exterior architectural features and is what sets  him apart from the average builder. Bored with unimaginative "cookie  cutter" home designs, he takes pride in approaching each new home with a  fresh vision. He is actively involved in all phases of home improvement  from landscaping and site work to design and construction.
